More 2016 nostalgia … If you spend time on TikTok you know that 2016 is having a moment. Now, people are losing their minds over the possible return of the Starbucks Unicorn Frappuccino. TikTok creator Saige Chambers was 10 when the pink-and-blue sugar bomb was released. “I waited nine years for this, and I might finally get closure … Correct me if I’m wrong, but I just heard Starbucks is bringing back the Unicorn Frappuccino." she said in a recent clip. She said back then she made her grandmother drive to a bunch of different Starbucks locations in search of the drink she called “the Labubu of 20 whatever 16.”
Actually, the drink is from 2017. The Unicorn Frappuccino was available for barely a week, from April 19th-25th, at select Starbucks locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Now, videos of people allegedly sipping Unicorn Frapps in 2026 are going viral — though most commenters are pretty sure they're DIY dupes. As of now, Starbucks hasn’t confirmed anything, though workers on Reddit are shutting down the comeback rumors. Below is just a sampling of the 2016 poo poo on your feed. People are apparently also posting pictures of themselves in 2016.
