Starbucks Is Making Big Changes To Its Rewards Program

Starbucks is revamping its loyalty program starting March 10th with a new three-tier system: Green, Gold, and Reserve, making earning perks faster and more flexible. Under the new system, members will earn Stars at different rates depending on their status level, unlock extra Double Star Days, and get new benefits like free drink customizations, longer birthday reward windows, and non-expiring Stars at the higher tiers. A new 60-Star option lets members get $2 off a purchase, making rewards easier to use sooner. Top-tier Reserve members can even access exclusive merchandise, special events, and coffee-focused trips abroad.

Speaking of coffee...

Coffee Or Tea In The Morning? Experts Weigh In: Part of many people's morning routine is a hot cup of coffee...or tea. But which is better for you? Nutrition experts say it really depends on what you're looking for from your morning beverage. Both coffee and tea are rich in antioxidants and offer unique health benefits, from brain and heart support to improved metabolism and immune function. Coffee provides a stronger, faster energy boost, while tea offers a gentler lift with added calm. The bottom line, though: neither coffee or tea is superior to drink in the morning. “Overall, the difference between swapping tea for coffee or vice versa won’t make a huge difference when it comes to your overall health, with all else being equal,” says Maddie Pasquariello, MS, RDN.

Still More Coffee ICYMI:

Caffeinated Decaf Coffee - Keurig has recalled more than 80,000 McCafe coffee pods, because they contain caffeine despite being labeled as “decaf.”
