This may be the most Canadian story you see today. A Saskatchewan woman was hospitalized after a moose attacked her outside her home in Bienfait on January 22nd during extreme cold. Angie Tuffnell didn't notice the young bull moose sleeping by the house's dryer vent and startled it when she went to start her car. Her son Shawn heard her screams, punched the moose in the face, hit it with a shovel, and eventually shot and killed it after it charged him. Angie needed about 28 stitches and had bruising, while Shawn suspects a cracked rib.
