Target is giving its stores a big refresh as the retailer works to win back shoppers, with plans to roll out trendier groceries, a revamped beauty section, and more sports and pop culture merchandise. The company says shoppers will start seeing bigger fresh food sections, more new snack and grocery items, and a stronger push for its Good & Gather brand as it tries to make food a bigger reason people visit. Beauty is also getting a makeover with a new in-store Beauty Studio replacing Ulta mini shops in more than 600 stores, while the newly renamed “Fun101” section will spotlight collectibles, toys, sports gear, and pop culture items. Target is also revamping home décor and clothing, looking to stay ahead of trends and bring fresh styles to shelves more quickly.
