Generally, one rule that would-be thieves swear by is finding a way to get in and out of their targets quickly and safely. In Newark, New Jersey, a man who tried to rob Mi Riconcito Ecuatoriano didn’t get that memo...because his master plan was to use Google Translate to execute the heist. The restaurant owner, Maria, says the culprit “became frustrated” and eventually ran out. It might’ve helped his cause to know his target…and, in this case, the cashier didn’t speak Spanish at all…only English. Cops are now searching for the suspect.
