Megan Moroney took fans behind the scenes of her “Wish I Didn’t” music video, featuring TV personality Dylan Efron.

Moroney, 28, recently premiered the cinematic music video for “Wish I Didn’t.” It’s the third track to arrive from her highly-anticipated studio album, Cloud 9, arriving next month. The behind-the-scenes look, shared on Wednesday (January 21), shows viewers an up-close look at Moroney’s wardrobe pieces, a few Easter eggs with her Cloud 9 era underway, reveals which lyric nearly didn’t make it into the song, shows how she and Efron staged their epic showdown, and more. The music video, directed by Lauren Dunn, “arrives as a modern-day update of the action-comedy classic Mr. & Mrs. Smith, with Moroney and Efron playing the parts of a seemingly perfect married couple living secret double lives as competing assassins...and ends on a spectacular cliffhanger,” states a press release issued with the music video’s premiere on January 16. It ends with Moroney and Efron seemingly being watched. Moroney reacts, “sh*t,” as she and Efron stand on the front porch of their home after a fight.

Moroney will release Cloud 9 on Friday, February 20. She’ll kick off her headlining arena tour this spring, with added performance dates “due to overwhelming demand” at “top-tier arenas across the U.S.” See the full list of tour stops below, and find the behind-the-scenes video here (warning: language).
